Really good Dining Experience

The food in the a la carte restaurants was excellent. Our favorite ones were the French and La Trattoria, where the service was perfect and the dishes were flavorful. Specifically, the Lobster Surf and Turf at the Brasserie was a highlight of our stay. I also enjoyed the fresh fruit options at breakfast, keeping our mornings vibrant and delicious.

Amazing Spa Services

The hydrotherapy experience at the spa was amazing. It included showers that smelled like citrus and a soothing hot tub that eased my aches from traveling. I couldn’t believe how refreshed I felt after just one session, and I wish I had gone every day of my trip!

Great Pool Activities

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of activities available at the pools. They offered aqua fitness classes and even pool Olympics, which were a fantastic way to engage with other guests. The large swimming pools were perfect for relaxing or joining in on the fun, and they were impeccably clean.

Spacious and Comfortable Rooms

Our room was huge and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The mini fridge was restocked daily, and the sitting area provided a nice space to relax after a long day. I especially loved the large bathroom with a rainfall shower. It truly felt like a luxury getaway!

My stay at Barcelo Maya Palace turned out to be unforgettable, with a stunning ambiance and fantastic service overall. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, making my stay enjoyable. Dining was a mixed experience, with some restaurants truly excelling in both service and food quality, while a couple left much to be desired. The location is great, close to the beach, but some activities can be a hassle to access. I loved my time there but was slightly disappointed by a few dining options and the limited water activity availability.

I had a great experience at the hotel, thanks to the amazing staff who provided exceptional service, especially in the Coral Restaurant. However, the check-in process was quite slow, and I was disappointed with the reservation system for dining which needs significant improvement. Overall, the spacious rooms, beautiful pools, and pretty beaches made it a solid all-inclusive stay, though I felt some amenities should have been included without extra charges.

I had a fantastic stay at the Barcelo Palace! The resort is beautifully maintained with stunning architecture and a fantastic beach location. I loved the variety of dining options available, though the buffet food could be a bit repetitive. The pool area was beautiful, but quite cold during my visit. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth it for the price.
